The crisp air and cool nights are upon us. Sweaters have been unpacked, boots set out by the door, and Google has been busy searching for fall comfort food recipes. Fall in St. Paul has been full of fun with a Murder Mystery on Main Street, Trunk or Treat and soon St. Paul’s 1st Annual Chili Chili Bang Bang Cook-off. If you love chili, cornbread, fantastic desserts, or just hanging out with friends we have you covered. "Chili Chili Bang Bang" will be held on November 6th from 12-3 at the Farmers Market Pavilion.
Here is how it works: Our Registered Contestants will bring their chili to the Farmers Market and compete for great prizes including $100 Judged event Sponsored by Dominion Energy and a $50 People’s Choice award from Sugar Hill Brewing Co. along with other prizes. There has been great response to our competition with more than 10 teams ready to prove why they think their Chili is the best dang Chili in St. Paul. Registration deadline was October 31st.
Don’t cook? No problem! The community is invited to purchase a ticket, sample the Chili and vote for their favorite. There will be free cornbread to go along with your chili while supplies last. Drinks (including beer and wine) and desserts will be available for purchase. There will also be chances for ticket holders to win big too! Enter to win a Food City “chili” basket, a 50/50 raffle or guess how many “beans” in the jar (closest to the number gets a prize).

The event begins at noon, so bring your friends and your appetite. This is a family friendly event with music, cornhole, good food, fellowship and fun. Come down and support this Lyric Project fundraiser.
